Animals are one of the best topics to discuss in science class. All animals need oxygen. This is very important for the life of animals, just like you! Oxygen helps animal cells do their jobs. Most animals have to eat other animals or plants to survive, and that is why most animals have an inner chamber where they can digest their food. Sometimes (and in humans) we call this inner chamber a stomach. Some animals have more than just one chamber or stomach. For example, cows have four stomachs!

With so many to choose from, the project possibilities are limitless! We can look at animals as invertebrates and vertebrates. It is important for us to note that animals have changed through the years because of changing weather and habitats. Some animals are already extinct, which means they are all dead. A good example of this type of animal is the dinosaur, which became extinct after the earth went through some big weather changes. As a result of hundreds of years of weather changes, the earth has lost some of its animals, and it's also gained some new animals that were able to adapt to the new environment or habitats.
There are many easy fun science projects for kids when it comes to animals. In the projects section, you will be taught the basic mixture and ingredients to make paper mache. You will be asked to choose an animal, or several animals and begin making them in order to properly study their parts. You can choose animals that are still living or animals that are extinct.
